The CN Tower is located in Toronto, Canada. You can see Toronto from the top of the CN tower. In the CN tower there are things from around the world!! Isn’t that amazing?! The people of Toronto were experiencing television problems. They were watching two TV shows at once. The tower inspires a lot of people and there pride. The TV signal was bouncing off of other buildings from Toronto to Buffalo, New York. Did you know that it is the world’s tallest tower?!

The History
This tower inspires a lot of Canadians and there pride and the tourists like it. During building there was a Television problem. They were experiencing two shows at once and poor reception and it wasn’t just sitcoms. They weren’t high enough. In 1972 The Canadian National built a tower that would solve there problem. The towers microwaves receive witch is located 338m (1,109ft) up above the ground.

The Construction
While building the CN tower they were breaking new ground in more ways than one. No one had never before faced with a task so difficult to accomplish and design a base too far into the ground and came

Up with a way to do it. After a long series o tests they finally came up with a way to build it and had to cut through the bed rock underneath and then they could work on it. On February 6, 1973 a lot of people gathered around the tower to engage on the foundation. They removed 56,234 metric tones (62,000 tons) of the earth and a shale befor pouring the cement and the steel foundation 6.71 mi. (22ft) deep in the base.

Building the CN Tower
When the foundation was done they started the Towers 335m (1,100 ft) concrete shaft and a hexagonal core ad curved support arms. 1, 1537 people worked all around the clock for 3 ½ months just to pour the concrete and make the tower’s inch by inch. 24 hours a day, 5 days a week and the concrete and was poured into a massive mold or slip form. As it hardened, the slip form was supported by a ring o mixing the climbing jacks working hydrolic pressure, moving upward, gradually decreasing in size and to produce the tower gracefully tapered contour. The CN tower contains 40,538 cubic meters (53,000 cubic yd). Here’s another fun fact! Did you know that all the concrete that was used to t make the CN tower was all from the and that they worked making the concrete. At 9: 25 Russian Olga the huge Russian Sikorsky helicopter placed 44th and final piece of the antenna mast on top of the CN tower. Worldwide, Canada’s CN tower is the most recognized as the magnificent feat of modern day engineering.

The conclusion
I had the best time working on my project and I think that it will be the best project I have ever done. I hope that I have encourage people to go to the CN tower. This a very tall yet exciting place to go with the family. I have been toToronto that I saw the CN tower I didn’t go to it but I saw it. I encourage people to go there.
